    i was able to resolve the issue. here is what i did to fix it and it had nothing to do with google and i already had the api key.

    in notepad++ i did a “find in files” under the public-html folder for the website searching for “maps.googleapis.com” there were 2 js files in a plugins folder that had to have the api key parameter added to the end of the url.

    i want to put a captcha on a login or register page for a site that uses the Real Homes theme. i configured the plug in and put the short code on the page but it does not display the captcha. if you click the register button then it brings you to the wordpress login page and says that the captcha is invalid. it displays the user name and email and then you can enter the captcha and it works properly. i just want to put it on the register form. Is there a way to do that and not go to the wordpress login page?

    also, once the registration is accepted it would be nice to be redirected back to the login or register page. is that possible?
