In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] PHP Memcache or Memcached? From what I have read on the web, this seems to be the newer one, “php5-memcached”.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] PHP Memcache or Memcached?I just realized that, being confused myself, I was adding to the confusion… So here is the question formulated better, I hope.
I understand that the service/daemon is installed on Linux with the “memcached” package.
However, for the “memcache” part of the equation I understand that Ubuntu 14.04 offers 2 package options, “php5-memcache” and “php5-memcached”, the former being the older version, and the latter being the newer and more feature-rich option.
Am I thinking in the right direction, and will W3TC work with both “php5-memcache” and “php5-memcached”, or one is preferred over the other?
Thanks again!

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] PHP Memcache or Memcached? Thanks Willie!
Makes me wonder what the logic is of having them separated… Maybe to allow the option of having your own client talk to the service/daemon.
I take it W3TC is using “memcache” for talking to “memcached”.
Cool, thanks!
Excellent!
Thanks Mark.

In reply to: [New Google Plus Badge Widget] multi authors blogSI vote for this feature too!
For a business with multiple locations there are multiple G+ local pages. I need to be able to have different G+ badges for the different locations on separate WP pages.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Excellent! Thanks again for the info!
It looks like they censored your email address… not really sure why… One of mine is yuri at worthsavvy dot com. Would like to stay in touch.
Hey, thanks so much for taking the time to write these instructions! They did help!
By Gallery Settings I was referring to the section that comes on top of the Manage Gallery page (“Click for more settings”). Not sure what “Page Link to” and “Create new page” are for…
You seem very knowledgeable at this. Have you thought about writing a guide and selling it for money? I did keyword research in Google, and there are lots of searches for info on this plugin. And guess what – I was unsuccessful to find anywhere the information you just wrote.
Free info is great, but if it takes hours to find it and go through the trials and errors, it’s not free anymore. People kind of fail to realize that…
I am surprised you tried to re-size them at least… How do you do that? Must be an insider thing…
Hey, Sixes, thanks for this great info!
Can you please give us more details on how this is done? I.e., how do you “rename” a site in Network Admin?
Here is the path I know (WP 3.3.1):
My Sites->Network Admin->Sites->Edit (for the specific site)->Info->Domain
Is the Domain field the one that you rename, as Hirs suggested? Do you have a solution for the login problem?
Thanks in advance!
