Then let your plugin users choose with a third select option –> Hide new members who aren’t approved in the members lists.

It doesn’t hide new member who aren’t approve. It only hide the new members after checked the second option “only registred or approved”.

But when checked the second option, frontend users can’t see the members without an approved account and thats a problem.

I’m sure that if you hide members when they are new (NOT approved) everyone is happy. Don’t put this function in the second check boxp but make it standaard.

Nobody want to show members who aren’t moderated! That’s why we need your plugin ??

So short answer, yes your correct with “I would need to make it so when just the moderated version is true, to hide them as well.”

The beta isn’t working. Members came online without approve by admin. I think there are still some bugs in your new beta version:

– BuddyPress members can interact with eachother without approve by admin
– New members are visible without approvement by admin

NO because we want to make it possible so search buddypress profiles and look into the profiles without a registration.

I think when we activate “private network” it will also block website visitors without an account?

Thanks for your update!! We test it 2 minutes ago but it doesn’t protect members from interact before approve by admin.

So a new member activate his email adres en after that he can interact with other buddypress members like sending them private message, add them as friend and send a public message.

So you have to block this so they can do this only after approve by admin.

Yes, keep it simple. Protect for spam and activate new users manually. That’s the main thing! I think there are other good options to hide members for logout users.

We use it to prevent spam and also to review new member before they can interact with eachother.

1: Option 2 is not confusing for me, but we don’t use it. Members have to search trough profiles when they are not a member but only contact other members after verifing there account manually.

2: I start using the plugin because it’s a perfect solution to moderate users manually. So if they signup, they can update there profile, but only interact with other users after admin verified there account.

So the only thing they can do is updating there profile before there account is verifing.

Hope you can fix the plugin because a lot of users are searching for this option in buddypress.
