Hi, thanks for your reply but I’m not sure I see the connection between the “more” tag and image captions. Maybe I wasn’t clear.

For all images, if enabled, the caption will appear under the image if the image is added to the body of a page or post. I’m asking if it could be possible to add the caption to a featured image as well. If an image is added as featured in a post, the caption does not appear.

In both the widget and menu switcher menu option,s there is a setting to hide the current language. If this is checked, only the alternate language(s) will be show. Check that you do not have that option checked. If you do, uncheck it and save. All language flags will then appear.

Personally though, I prefer to hide the current language. It saves space and still give users the ability to switch to another language.

There is nothing to fix. This is the default functionality.

To do what you’re asking, you must have the “Forces link to front page” option checked for the language switcher in your navigation menus. Get to it at Appearance > Menus. Select each menu, then the dropdown arrow for the Language switcher. The option is there.
