it might be IP problems, for example, my blog is “locked”, I am the only one who can access it (it checks for my ip). So, I think this might be my problem.

I can’t turn off and test, its a corp site and no one can see it right now.

As soon as I open the visual editor to edit my post, WordPress will convert the saved text and destroy unclosed codes… This is a solution as long as the person doesn’t edit the post…

I want WORDPRESS to read this idea!

This would require no plugin at all, and I could have awesome CSS separators for my site, or add BANNER codes inside there… anything… Without wordpress evil doings.

I have a site here, and I try to add CSS coding and DIVS and SPANS, but wordpress eliminates them all… transform them into <p class=""> … really annoying.

We found the solution guys, its the SERVER problem, you must work around with your Server Admin, to see what is going on with:

Server and Gzip compression, that is the sole problem if all the other suggestions from this forum don’t work.

I need to turn off GZIP for the AJAX Advanced editor. How can I do that? My server GZIP things automatically.

Problem solved. I think this is the same thing happening to all others having this trouble. The solution:

Server:

“Our servers automatically GZIP all output, so if an application such as WordPress tries to GZIP it as well, problems are caused like this one.
If you disable GZipping in your application’s configuration it should start behaving correctly.”

it must be our servers irvingbennett. The same files are working fine on my other server… Strange.
