Image 1: We can see that the items bundled together would weight 600 grams. As demonstrationed in the first image.

Image 2: We can see that once the items are in the cart the weight is changing from 600grams to 2100grams.

This is made up by the individual weights of 750 per item each + the 600 grams for the bundle.

The true total cart count should display the 600 grams as seen in the first image howver instead it adds them all together.

What is intresting here is that the weight table calculator is only reading it as the 600grams it should be reading as.

Image 3: Is simply to show that each product has an intial weight of 750grams – this is a weight set to this because of shipping values. I’m fully aware that two items of equal are a lesser value. This is due to us needing to add in extra protective packaging and is correct.

Below is the individual settings for the plugin and the products relating to weight & cart:

    Hey @miemie

Thanks for the reply, sadly this doesn’t fully resolve the issue, it in fact creates another.

Whilst the shipping rates will read the weight as what the composite products weight is set to (great) however, what happens then is the other issue.

On the ‘total weight’ on the cart/checkout page is will show it as the composite product (600 grams) + the two initial products that make up (750 grams x2), giving a total weight of 2100 grams.

So I’ve also discovred that I could put a minus amount into the composite products filed to get the correct shipping rate that I wanted.

That’s all well and good, until you get to the checkout screen, the cart weight will show the weight I want to see however, the shipping rates will only show for the composite products initial products weight added together.

Is there any way for it to be told to ignore it completely and just to use the composite weight.
