Renaming of .htaccess => OK
Changing the Permalink-Settings to DEFAULT resulted in:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wordpress/wp-admin/options-permalink.php on this server.

In reply to: Migrating WordPress to New Server?…I’ve been changing the PERMALINK setting in WordPress to be …/YYYY/MM/DD… (same setting as in the old version).
After this change I now get a “Forbidden, you don’t have permissions to access /wordpress/ on this server” message ??
There must be something wrong.
