The plugin works on my test site. Is there a limit to just one site?

Update: I upgraded to latest WordPress 4.3.1 and latest version of the plugin. This did not solve the problem.

I had the same issue and this thread got me fixed. I am very grateful for the support, both by Cory and this community. I had a very different experience with WP Migrate DB. Its author refuses to provide an ounce of support for his free version and his minimum price is more than twice Duplicator Pro’s. So when I go pro, I’ll go Duplicator! Meanwhile, I sent in a donation.

Yep, I read the sticky post at the top of the support forum. Maybe I don’t expect free support, but the plugin did not work for me and no one is around to support it and it costs a lot of money. I won’t pay that money unless I can at least get the free version to work on my elementary problem.
