The problem was extra code at the end of the wp-conf.php file.

In reply to: ?> Error At Top of BlogI ommitted a link because it ends up in Google search results, sometimes before my domain!
Good suggestion on the themes, but the error is present on all themes I have.
I did some more re-uploading of new WP files and the error has shortened to just “?>”. When I view the source code of my blog, I see the following on the first line:
?><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN” “https://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd”>
So, there’s the extra “?>”. I’ve searched around and it seems the problem should be in wp-rdf.php. I’ve tried uploaded a fresh file several times with no luck. I’ve looked at the file and see no extra “?>”. I just don’t get this error at all. Can anyone advise how to get rid of the extra “?>”?
Thanks, Garrett
I just had the same problem and reloading new files worked. If I could now just fix the “settings.php’); ?>hp’); ?>” error.
Well, I can cross the account issue as I go through the install process. But I want to correct the “settings.php’); ?>hp’); ?>” error before doing so. Any advice on how to fix it?
Thanks, G

In reply to: Modifying the default text rich editorGood suggestion. I’ll do that until I can get an editor with more format options to work.

In reply to: Spacing Text in SidebarThe problem with listing my url here is it pulls up in Google. Currently when I Google my url, past support questions pull up before my url. Is there any way to delete or modify those old support questions to stop this?
I don’t think it is a style sheet issue. I modified the sidebar with code to surpress the listing of subpages in the sidebar. I’ve used the code for a year with different themes with no problem. In my current theme there are spacing issues. I thought maybe there was a tag I could insert to create a space.

In reply to: Strange Header Image ProblemI’m having similar problems with changing the default header after messing with the new customizing option. What does it mean to “uncomment the code” relating to personalheader.jpg? I created this file already according to the instructions in header.php.
