Turns out we were on an old, shared-hosting package that had a hard limit of 30MB. We upgraded to our own “cloud server” where I can set it at will. This will probably fix it.

I was thinking that could be the issue, but I’m already set to a 512MB limit both locally and on my hosting provider’s end. I’ve already emailed them to see if they can check and make sure it’s still set to 512MB on their end.

Any ideas after that, short of reinstalling WordPress?

If I disable both plugins, and re-enable only CFF, it still happens. When I enable only the other plugin, it still happens. I’ll send you the logins and await your reply.

Still broken for me, causes the wp-admin dashboard to go blank when I activate it. Showing WordPress 4.5 & this plugin’s 2.4.1.1 updated. I should note that I have narrowed my issue down to this and one other plugin by disabling & re-enabling all plugins via FTP.

Yes, I’m on WordPress 4.0 and Wordfence 5.2.2. I should probably also mention that I’m using a child theme based on the GeneratePress theme, and it’s up-to-date as well. I try to stay on top of the updates as they usually fix some obscure security hole or bug.

Okay, I’ve upped the memory requested to 256MB, provider is giving me 512MB, I’ve added the memory_limit = “512M” to my php.ini, defined it in WordPress’ config file. I never had the ‘scan photos as executables’ checked. I’ve rebooted the server, even, to make sure the settings are loaded. I’m still getting this error: Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 35389440) (tried to allocate 54 bytes) in /homepages/7/d247834814/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/lib/wordfenceHash.php on line 328

I really like the fact that the Chinese and Russians are being blocked by this….

Yeah, I’ve moved on also. Seems the developer is a machine, turning out products but not supporting them. I’ll not use anything else by c. bavota!

I guess I should point out that my child theme uses a static home page…
