Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Media Library errorHey there, how ya doing?
When did you notice this started happening?
Any chance you renamed your theme folder, done any customisation or some other changes recently, perhaps even hosting?
When I load the images directly, they load perfectly fine.
Let me know what’s changed. ??
Hey, TechFanboy! ??
If you wish to discuss the loss of that one star, it sounds like it came down to the cost of the pro version, I’m sure we can sort something special out for you ??
Please email us: [email protected] and point to this review.
Have a great day.
Hey, hey!
You “might” (I don’t know) get a cheaper service, it won’t be as good though. :-p
That said, if you want to give the pro version ago, contact us [email protected] quote this review and my response, we’ll sort you something better out. ??
Have a fantastic day!

In reply to: [BuddyPress Activity Plus] This plugin has been discontinuedSeriously, do you have nothing better to do with your life except keep posting on WordPress, anonymously?
You said it won’t be updated and then it will, so just to clarify for others. We will, of course, fix any security vulnerabilities that we’re aware of, we will then release those updates for everyone. We are therefore maintaining them.
You’ve had your say and we fixed the “security issue” pretty quickly once we were aware of it. Other plugins, themes, and even the WordPress have suffered from security vulnerabilities over the years, some going unnoticed longer than others. In fact, the same happens with all different kinds of software including operating systems and the apps running on them. I don’t see you making your life goal to try and ruin those. If you don’t like the plugins for any reason, just move on, no one is forcing you to be here.
Apart from your multiple posts through anonymity, I don’t see you putting your life’s work online to be scrutinised and criticised by others and then degraded by what is starting to feel like an attack as you try to flood the forums with your posts. If you do publish stuff under your real name, feel free to share and stick your head above the parapet and move on with your life, enjoy it and stop being so angry.
Please note that we won’t continue to respond to you, it’s futile, we’ve tried that and you simply wish to insult and argue rather than be civil.

In reply to: [Membership 2] Special codes instead payment, paypal, etc.Hey there,
I’m not blaming you, sorry if it seemed that way. What I’m doing is explaining the potential issues that you could face, we’ve had people come back to us after they’re sites have been accessed through a backdoor, it’s more to protect you than anything else. Some services also sell old versions, but rebadge as the latest copy, this can also mean you have an outdated copy which can be a security risk.
Please do contact us directly, of course if there is an issue in our latest plugin version, we’ll fix that.
In fact, once you contact us we’ll ask for a copy of the download you got from them. We can then track their account from this. In exchange, we’ll give you a free month of access to our version as a thank you.
Just quote this ticket when you email us through the form:

Take care.

In reply to: [Membership 2] Special codes instead payment, paypal, etc.Hey there,
This plugin on its own is only $19 from us, the price you quoted was for a full membership which gives access to all of our plugins and themes.
Unfortunately, www.remarpro.com rules prevent us from supporting commercial products in this forum, we also don’t support pirated copies sold by lazy third parties.

There have been a number of known incidents in the past where such people place security vulnerabilities into the code, this could compromise your site, your customers data including any personally identifiable information, password and financial transactions, especially where you take their credit card details. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t be able to support any situation which arises from that.
Of course, if you wish to continue using the plugin, that’s entirely up to you but we definitely wouldn’t support that, as you can imagine, it costs us a lot of money to employ talented people.
To discuss the commercial products further, you would need to contact us directly to ensure we don’t take over the WP forums ??

Thanks for using the Smush plugin and leaving us an awesome rating! ??
I’m sorry to hear about your experience, I’d really like to look putting things right. I’ve sent your feedback regarding the Exif data over to our project manager.
I’m not quite sure why you’re having to go through Paypal, we offer a full 30-day refund guarantee. I’d love to correct that and get you your 30-day refund, as such I’d welcome the opportunity to investigate the matter further to see why it reached that point. Would you please be so kind as to fill in this form:

Please mark to my attention, include your username and email on your active account. I’ll investigate further.
Looking forward to assisting further.
