The throttling has stopped.

I wonder what I should do now? Try some other cacheing plugins and see what their effect is, I guess!

Does anyone have a favourite to recommend?

And there’s no more throttling, at least over the shortish sample of time I’ve looked at. I’ll take another look in a couple of hours.

Here’s an interesting result: without WP Super Cache, one of the testing sites reckoned my site went slightly faster than with it…

I have contacted them, but as they’re a respected provider, I feel this is more likely to be a technical issue with my site. As usual, I stand to be corrected, of course…

To be honest, I couldn’t make much sense of W3 Total Cache, so I have deactivated it and instead I’m trying a different cacheing plugin.

It seems to be working so I’ll watch what happens with interest.

I’m getting ‘Error saving media attachment.’ with all of those.

Is there anything else that could be causing this difficulty and that I can fix please?

Hmmm… It’s not working at my weblog intheboatshed.net as far as I can see. What might I be doing wrong or just different? Is there a clash with another plugin please?

Soz, but I was wrong… The theme is 2010, not 2011, if that makes any difference.

I’ll give them a go when I have a chance. It could be a plugin…

Switching to Twenty Eleven is a bit time consuming because of all the setting up that switching back requires – but I’m thinking of switching to another theme anyway. Monday, I think will be my first opportunity!
