Right, this actually happened to me as well even in 2.7.1 I have posted serveral times and have not received a good answer. I am stuck with using HTML to place my pictures. Its really making life tough, and NOW after upgrading to 2.8 I apparently have lost permissions. I cant even get into my control pannel at all.

I really need some help on this one folks. I have to get my site back up and running smooth soon. pleeeease!!!

I am having a similar issue…did you upgrade to 2.7.1 when this started? And where WERE they being saved to vs where you changed it to now work?

Thanks so much, I have to have this working by Wednesday for the doc so I will try working on it Monday. I have a conference tomorrow where I will present my site so I’m afraid to make any changes last minute. I truly appriciate your help…maybe I will send you one of my t-shirts when this is all done and works!

Buddha Trance…This looks like exactly what I need. I’m VERY nervous to try this because I am not a coder at all. Heck, I cant even figure out how to change my links so they are a different color than my text! lol, but your tutorial looks thorough enough. Hi iridiax…no, if you take a look at my blog https://www.glutenfreepost.com you will see the blog posts on the front/main page. I want to be able to create posts on my GFPTV page, Shopping page, etc. Sos basically I want to write a ‘post’ on any page I have up.

I want to write individual posts on multiple pages. I read up on pages in wordpress and this is what it says:
What Pages Are:

Pages are for content that is less time-dependent than Posts.
Pages can be organized into pages and SubPages.
Pages can use different Page Templates which can include Template Files, Template Tags and other PHP code.
What Pages are Not:

Pages are not Posts, nor are they excerpted from larger works of fiction. They do not cycle through your blog’s main page. (Note: You can include Posts in Pages by using the Inline Posts Plugin.)
Pages cannot be associated with Categories and cannot be assigned Tags. The organizational structure for Pages comes only from their hierarchical interrelationships, and not from Tags or Categories.
Pages are not files. They are stored in your database just like Posts are.
Although you can put Template Tags and PHP code into a Page Template, you cannot put these into the content of a Page and expect them to run. (Note: You can achieve this by using a PHP evaluating Plugin such as Exec-PHP or RunPHP.)

I’ve tried downloading the “Inline Posts Plugin” but it seems to be corrupted. However, even though WordPress says you can’t…take a look at https://buzznewsroom.com/category/gaming/ and https://buzznewsroom.com/category/entertainment/
So clearly it is possible. I hope this clears up what I am trying to do.

ClaytonJames….THANK YOU!!!! Finally! lol one more question…as you mentioned, now all my links are white too. Any suggestion on what color to make them that is different yet subtle (including what hex code that is) and where the heck do I change that? is it also style.css?

It should look like this:

where the first part is where you want it to link to, the second (img src) is where it is uploaded (its location on your server) and the last part being its specific name and exact size.
