  • Does anyone know whether Pingable’s Constant Footer is working as described since version 1.5 and whether it is compatible with WordPress versions up to 3.1.3?

I am hesitant to install this plug in until I find out. I am using WP version 3.1.1 .

Also, I have tried to contact Pingable but have gotten no response from them. So the support seems to be very iffy and may be why Constant Footer only has a 2 star out of 5 rating.

Well, I found the meta keywords and meta description fields collapsed under the heading of “custom fields” on the create post page. It used to be those custom fields including post title, etc. opened up and showed ready for data entry automatically when I selected post>new but now I have to first go to the trouble to “create new” those “custom” fields for each new post before I can enter the actual keywords and meta description for each post. It’s a lot of bother. I wonder whether it’s the Atahualpa theme upgrade or the WP 3.1 upgrade that caused the change.

As of my upgrade to WP 3.1 and upgrading the Atahualpa WP theme to version 3.6.4, I no longer have entry fields for keywords and meta description when creating a new post (blog article).

I upgraded Atahualpa theme back around March 19 to version 3.6.4 . Now the logo image (vhlogo.gif) that used to show on the extreme left in the header area of my blog (www.vibranthealthworld.com) no longer displays. Instead there is the “placeholder” with the red x in it.

From within my admin panel I notice that to turn off scrolling/rotating images in the header I am to have only one image file at /wp-content/themes/atahualpa/images/header/ . This is where my logo image (vhlogo.gif) used to be. Since upgrade that file is gone and there are 3 other images in the folder – header6.jpg modified 3/19/11, IMG_1479.jpg modified 3/19/11, and IMG_1496.jpg modified 3/19/11 .

In my attempt to fix I uploaded logo image (vhlogo.gif) to the folder /wp-content/themes/atahualpa/images/header/ but did not remove the other 3 images header6, IMG_1479, and IMG_1496 because these may be the theme images for posts and comments that display in the header area. My attempt didn’t change anything and my logo still doesn’t display in the header area.

    Help?
