Hi @adamdunnage ,
correct, I am using CookieYes on that site. it displays the blue cookie bar at the bottom that reaches across the whole window. I was not referring to that popup.
I was referring to the big white popup from Google that you have to confirm to continue browsing. Once confirmed, you can always get back to it by a white smaller banner at the bottom left. That also comes from Google.
I have now done the following. I used the “Reset” feature of the Site Kit plugin to remove all connected services. The popups were gone after that. Then, I connected my Analytics service as before and it still did not show. I leave it at that now.
I am now pretty sure that it was caused by connecting the AdSense service. In the setup of my AdSense property there is a feature called “GDPR” in the “Privacy and Messaging” section that will enable the consent popup. It is as simple as switching that feature off.
So I can confirm that the Site Kit plugin itself does not launch the popup. It is launched when you connect an AdSense property to SIte Kit where the GDPR feature is enabled.
Thanks for your prompt response and support.
Best regards,
GeorgeAnd to make it even worse, in Germany – based on GDPR – this popup is “illegal” because it loads Google fonts from Google servers which a German court has found illegal in January 2022 (https://www.theregister.com/2022/01/31/website_fine_google_fonts_gdpr/). That can be resolved by copying the fonts to your own web server and load them from there. However, since this popup can not be edited, this is not possible.

In reply to: [Lewe ChordPress - ChordPro Text Formatter] 4 strings are not shownHi joaotostes,
as you might know by now, I will retire the Vexchords module in my ChordPress plugin. There are constant problems with it and the developer seems to have abondened it.
I have recently introduced the jTab module as an interim replacement. It displays nicely but only supports 6 string predefined chords.
But also jTab is not developed any further anymore. I am currently analyzing other modules that I could use.

In reply to: [Font Awesome] Plugin conflicts with RankMathHi @mlwilkerson ,
thanks for following up on this.
With Font Aweseom 4.0.1 is was ok. The RankMath box is underneath the edit field when working on a post. It allows to enter SEO related information. See this screenshot:
https://support.lewe.com/images/rankmath-ok.jpgAfter the update to Font Awesome 4.0.2 the RankMath box looks like this:
https://support.lewe.com/images/rankmath-not-ok.jpgI don’t know what changed between 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 of your plugin but that might be a starting point to find where the conflict may be.
Thanks for your help,
GeorgeHi Bethany,

In reply to: [Lewe ChordPress - ChordPro Text Formatter] Barre chords problemHi guys,
sorry for the delay in answering. I was “out of order” for a while :-).
Thanks for letting me know this effect. I will check it out…Best regards,
GeorgeThank you very much.
That fixed it for me.Hi Mauro,
when you create chords you can chose the same title but the Short Name must be unique. If you want to create a second B7 chord you need to pick a different short name, e.g. B7a. I know, that is not perfect.
The plugin scans through your Chordpro text and grabs the chord shortnames. Then it looks for this name in the chord diagram database. If both of them are called “B7” the plugin would not know which one to take.
Best regards,
GeorgeHi Mauro,
thanks for the link. I can see what you mean.
I tried to reproduce it on my site but could not so far. See here:
https://sayandsound.lewe.com/test-mauro/Can you try to edit your chords and just save them again. maybe they are not stored right. I will keep looking what it can be…
Brgds,
GeorgePS: I like your music.
Hi Mauro,
sorry for the delay. I did not get a notification about your post.
I do not entirely understand the problem you are describing. Do you have a link to a page where I can see the effect?
Thanks and best regards,
George
