In reply to: Locking Text on Your Web Site so it Cannot be CopiedThanks Catacaustic,
I kind of thought that might be the case, but there’s no harm in asking. Sorry for taking so long to reply to your response. Work and life have a way of getting in the way of themselves, at least in my world.
Again, thanks…
Take care,
Glenn

In reply to: Inserting a PDF, JPEG or TIF image into a web pageHi Laura,
Thanks so much for your response and I apologize it took me so long to reply. Work and personal commitments have kept me far too busy. What you suggested worked perfectly.
If you might be so kind as to answer another inquiry I have, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m building this site mainly to be a web site, but the majority of templates are set up to be blog sites. I wouldn’t mind having one page dedicated to a blog, but I don’t want every page on the web site to be blog oriented, it’s distracting to the material on the page. I’ve searched through the various options in the template I’m using and I cannot find anything that turns off the blog portion or simply creates lone pages that are not blog oriented. I asked the DreamHost people if I could be switched over to just a web site type program and they said WordPress is mainly set up for blogs, but it can be tweaked to remove the bog settings. This is completely beyond my capabilities and I have found nothing in the template that indicates this might be done, so if you can tell me how to do so, it would be greatly appreciated. “Inkzine” is the template theme I’m using. If I must switch templates, please let me know which template I should use for this purpose. However, the Inkzine template provides the best look for my site of all the ones I’ve tried so far. So if it can be tweaked, that would work best for me.
By the way I’ve deleted as many of the plugins as I could. Some are stuck because they now run certain things on the web site.
Thanks…
Take care,
Glenn
