In reply to: [WP eCommerce] shipping not being calculated at checkoutMihai,
I finally showed some initiative and recalled that I had renamed wpsc-shopping-cart-page.php, so I returned it to that original name and voila–everything works!
Please send me ([email protected]) your mailing address. I’d like to send you a thank you/holiday gift for all your help. If you have a favorite store include that name.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] shipping not being calculated at checkoutMihai,
I went into /wp-content/uploads/wpsc and changed the folder themes to themes_old, then into the Dashboard -> Plugins and deactivated, re-activated WP ecommerce. The “Calculate Shipping Price” section is now showing up on the Checkout page, and when you make a selection the amount is correctly added to the merchandise price. A quantum leap forward!!!One “flakey” thing, though under “Please review your order”, if you click ‘Update’, after changing the merchandise quantity, or click ‘Remove’ you are switched to a page saying, “This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?”. Also, previously under Store Settings -> Presentation I had “Display Fancy Purchase Notifications” set to Yes. I had to change this to No, because clicking that popup on the Shop page switched me to the “This is somewhat embarrassing,..” page.
I can’t thank you enough for helping me get the ‘Calculate Shipping Price’ section to work.

The php files/css file have check boxes to the left of each. The “Move Template Files”, “Backup Your WordPress Theme” and “Flush Theme Cache” are click boxes.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] shipping not being calculated at checkoutI went into wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc=theme and
renamed wpsc_shopping_cart_page.php
to wpsc_shopping_cart_page_org.php
Is this the type of renaming you suggest? In Store -> Settings -> Shipping, under Internal Shipping Calculators
Flat Rate is checked and the All 50 States box is set to $3.99. Shouldn’t this provide a shipping calculator on the Checkout page? If not, how do I do this?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP eCommerce] shipping not being calculated at checkoutI am having the same problem described above, “Please select one of the available shipping options, then we can process your order.” However, we only use flat rate ($3.99) shipping and only ship to USA. Also, the $3.99 never shows up on our Checkout webpage.
WP 4.0.1 and ecommerce 3.9.1. Theme is 2012. Previously, we used 2010 and I switched back it and did a “Flush Theme Cache” but no improvement. I’ve tried deactivating my plugins, one at a time, and checking for improvement each time one was disabled, with no result.
At this point, I’ve become what Einstein described as an idiot, doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

In reply to: Get Shortlink button not on Edit Page after 4.0 UpgradeAs suggested in basic instructions for this forum, I started deactivating my plugins, one by one and checking for problem resolvement each time. When I deactivated the plugin “After the Deadline”, version 0.49008, my problems went away. The “Get Shortlink” button now appears on all new webpages and all edited new and old pages can be successfully published.
