I require assistance urgently. My website is inaccessible, and I’m quite distressed about it. The situation has caught me off guard, and I’m unsure how long this critical error has persisted. Given that I invest a significant sum monthly in Yelp for increased website traffic, this issue is particularly concerning.

Today, I initiated a PHP upgrade via the Cpanel on my website management portal. Despite the upgrade indicating success with WordPress now at version 6.3, I’m still encountering the same persistent error preventing access to my site. The error message specifies a requirement for version 8.0, but I’m unsure where to find this for further upgrade.

In the portal, it indicates the PHP version as 8.1.27. Does this mean I currently have version 8.1.27 installed? If so, why am I still encountering the error message regarding Composer dependencies necessitating PHP version “>= 8.0.0”? The error message received on attempting to access the website is: “Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 8.0.0″. There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.” Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
