Our module is supposed to be used in the text editor.

Custom fields or third party areas are not tested. Depending on the way your theme uses short description, it might work just fine or customization might be needed.

This is the expected behavior – all plugins need to have their settings saved in order to be added to the database.

Can you please switch to the default theme and verify if the same behavior exists?
Also, deactivating all other plugins temporarily and checking the behavior would be helpful.

Its a pity that you rated my item in a poor way due to technical misunderstandings.

My item uses pure JavaScript and it cannot cause incompatibilities.

The fact that your theme is not accepting JS elements in your sidebar is not something that “needs a fix” – You can switch to another theme and verify that this is not my plugins issue in combination with WordPress sidebars, but your theme is all about to be blamed.

Leaving a bad rating for a technical issue you face at your local setup (this is a product that works for thousand others and also working fine at its online demo) is an action you shall think twice, mate, as you harm, instead of appreciating the overall work someone provides, free of charge.

Please escalate your technical issue at your hosting company for resolution, if you are not familiar with troubleshooting actions. Im not able to help such non-context claims.

Yeap, that was a link for our other plugin, as per previous banner’s content – the link is fixed now. Thanks for mentioning @scirceo!

@susantau – this is a short update, as we started offering a PRO version of the plugin which supports the feature your are interested in.

Can you please disable all third party plugins and retry? If that doesnt work, reverting at the default WordPress theme might do the trick.

Those are the best initial troubleshooting steps, in order to find out whats wrong with the expected behavior of my plugin (the one that can be seen/tested at its online demo).

Text is dynamically parsed through a specific option field in the settings of the plugin and cannot be different from one place to another.

You can switch back to the default theme, in case you are facing a theme compatibility issue.

My plugin shall work there just like it does in its demo page.

I just checked my plugin at an installation of the last version of WordPress core and it worked just fine.
Please consider checking your intstallation for potential conflicts (plugins/themes).

Thats possible, however custom development is needed.
