I don’t have view count is showing up as an option in ‘post/page elements to copy’, how can I get it to show up there?

sadly it seems to do the same with jpg files, nothing wrong with the gif btw

Custome permalink is different from permalink, it’s confusing yes, but that’s how it works now

@apoorv have a look under Settings > Status & Visibility > Custom Permalink
