Hi, the plugin allows you to resize when you upload new images. However this plugin NEVER crop images, just resize!

I didn’t understand the problem, but I’ve made some improvements that may help you. Update the plugin. I hope it will work again.
If the library still doesn’t work you can try disabling the plugin option: “Resize when images are loaded”. This way the plugin no longer modifies the media library. Then it should start working again.I can’t reproduce your problem on my computer.
Can you give me any other information?
Do you have any other plugins that work with files?
Do you have particular images or files in your library?
what version of wordpress do you use?I’m sorry that my plugin is not working well, I will try to fix it as soon as possible.
in the meantime disable the plugin.it’s true customers upload gigantic images !!
However, I don’t know how imagify works, I can tell you how my plugin works.
My plugin is based on wordpress image editing libraries. When you upload an image the plugin reads it, resizes it and saves it. When the plugin saves the image I already pass the format and the compression level (you can define the various compression levels from the settings).
I think imagify does something similar. This means that the last plugin that processes the image performs the final compression. I don’t know which plugin runs first. I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful than that.Hi, the plugin resizes and optimizes images both in bulk and when you upload a new image.
If you use another plugin they should be compatible, however this way every time you upload an image, it will be resized and optimized twice. This will not improve the image quality.
You can disable resizing when uploading new images from my plugin and use it only for bulk resizing.
To disable resize when images are uploaded, go to the plugin settings and disable the “Resize when images are uploaded” option.Everything seems to be working fine.
Hi, Update the plugin to version 1.3.0.
I added the option to restore original images.
You can go to media gallery list view and select the images you want to restore. Inside the bulk actions you will find the “revert back to original” option.
Make a backup first, because I have tested it little.
The option obviously only works if you haven’t removed the original image.
I hope it all works out. In that case can you rate the plugin?thank you
Done
I’m sorry, but I wrote the plugin because I had to reduce the size of the images of a site and I didn’t think about the idea of enlarging them.
So with my plugin you can’t enlarge images, maybe you can try to use wordpress generated thumbnails.I’ve always thought about reducing the size of images.
I never thought about putting an option to zoom in on images.
Thanks for the suggestion, I will keep it in mind for the next versions.Hi, I actually added this new control. The idea was to warn if I found something wrong with the configuration (for images only).
But maybe I exaggerated by saying that nothing works and what needs to be done to correct. Thanks for the feedback and patience, as soon as (today or tomorrow I hope) I make the message less dramatic and avoid blocking the plugin.
I have posted a new version with corrections.
@mateuszgbiorczyk thank you very much I fixed the plugin following your suggestions, now loading a pdf does not give more errors. Further on the more in-depth tests to check if there are other errors.
@markussss thanks to you too for reporting the problem, from here I discovered that I had been rough in writing some functions. I hope it all works out now.
