Mika, yes it appears to be the background-manager plugin. I disabled it and DreamObjects worked fine. I have to re-enable this plugin for the site as it is used for the layout of the homepage. Thanks for your assistance on this.
What version of the plugin are you using? = 4.0.1
What version of PHP are you using? = 5.6 at Dreamhost
