Thanks for the response bindlegirl! No positions have been added yet. I just have a large collection of open positions that were generated from a non-Wordpress HR software tool. I’ve since chosen a very basic Astra WordPress theme (without any type of search engine) and was thinking I might figure out how to leverage a plugin later (even if it meant some customization).

So, if I’m tracking correctly, if I had used a theme that leverages the WP Job Manager I could somehow leverage the basic search capability?

I guess the next challenge would be for me to figure out how I would expose those job postings to my non-WPJM WordPress theme from the 3rd party’s source embed code. (FYI… the 3rd party application is bambooHR… a cloud-based system.

Not expecting to drag you down into the quagmire but I really appreciate the insight. I think I know where I stand at the moment.

but how can I assign a unique thumbnail to display in each line? I REALLY like this but I don’t want a default thumbnail showing up for each post.
