Already had a hunch that this was the purpose. Though, I always disable them after activating the plugin, until now I haven’t noticed any troublesome errors by doing that. Is it vital to leave them on, e.g. for any (WP) core or server processes involved? Can I have missed and caused faulty processes by disabling them?

Ah, I see. Yesterday I’ve noticed the plugin was removed from WP Plugin repo and was a bit surprised, but now I know what’s the cause. Hopefully the new version gets approved.

As someone seeking to solve the multisite + domain mapping + multilingual WordPress puzzle successfully, I thank you both @duisterdenhaag and @inspired888 greatly for these recent (2021!) reviews and explanations. I kind of hit the same walls past days & nights when messing around to get the setup and config all right. Your comments helped me a lot and pushed me in the right direction!

Hi Kuppuraj,

No problem, many thanks to you as well for your time looking into this issue and the efforts for fixing it. I’ve just updated the plugin and tested by loading the WP Customizer: page load doesn’t get stuck anymore.

I’ll surely review the plugin and already started to spread the word among WP colleagues in and outside our organisation. My colleagues in the organisation already love the plugin as well; navigating through the admin side is just so much more convenient with your tool!
