Hi Lisette, I also use it with Avada theme and it works well on my site (we’ve used it with Avada for two years). I have the pro version and the free version and no problems. Maybe it is another plugin that is conflicting? Have you tried turning each plugin off to see if it works with the theme (no other plugins turned on except the calendar and Avada)?
@kntdan did you get this resolved? I’m hesitant to upgrade since I also have Avada/Fusion Builder.
I’m curious to know if this fixes it, too, as an Avada user. Commenting so I can be notified of any new updates on this thread.
Hi Fakhri!
Thanks for responding. ?? I’m not sure if I can describe it better, but I’ll try! For example: When I tried to apply the settings to a page, the checkbox on the page’s “SEO Redirection Plugin” settings would not stay checked; as soon as I saved the page, the box for the settings would uncheck itself. If I cleared the cache and etc., it still did the same thing; it wouldn’t stay “checked” in the settings, so the SEO Redirection Plugin settings (and the URL I wanted to redirect to) wouldn’t apply itself.
Let me know if you have any other questions! I’d love to have this work and I saw lots of good feedback, so I’m sure it works for many people. ??

In reply to: [Safe SVG] Insert inline svg code?Oh, shoot! ?? Yeah, apparently, WP won’t insert raw svg code, at least from what I’ve been reading online. (Would be super happy to be wrong!) I would upload the SVG as a file, but I don’t know how; especially because I need to have one line of it be dynamic (update the month/year within the graphic). I guess I have more learning to do!
Thank you. ??

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Plugin Filter I set up no longer worksI’ve been returning to these steps every time I need to update the plugin so that I can activate my filter I have set up again. It’s always worked. ?? However, I just updated to the latest version of the plugin, and these steps no longer work —?the plugin is still active on the pages I have set up on the filter. I’ve tried clearing cookies/cache, but that hasn’t helped.
Anything new I should try with this latest update to get it to work again? Thanks!
Same thing is happening here! I have had UM for over a year and everything I do with it is just one problem after another. So frustrating!
I found that same issue and documentation —?that should really be cleared up, UM team. Either delete the doc that is no longer valid, or update it with the correct info. One page says the box doesn’t need to be checked (this is preferred, so we don’t have random spam registrations) and the other says you have to have that checked in general settings to allow registrations.
In either case, I’m having the same problem. There was no issue until I followed the recommendation in your documentation saying that the box *didn’t* need to be checked (https://docs.ultimatemember.com/article/269-how-to-stop-users-registering-via-wp-login-page). Came back a few days later and found that error message in the registration section saying that “Registration is currently disabled” as the OP stated. That means for several days, no one was able to sign up on our site, which is not great for our nonprofit. :/ Went and checked out the documentation again and found the same discrepancy within your docs (https://docs.feibisi.com/projects/ultimatemember/article/173-registration-is-currently-disabled.html). So I enabled registrations in WP’s settings again and it still isn’t turning back on, even after clearing cache/cookies/looking for conflicts.

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Plugin Filter I set up no longer worksUpdate! Even though it was still showing as active, I decided to manually turn off “Selective Plugin Loading” in the Plugin Organizer’s Settings, and then activate again and save. Went back and looks like the Plugin Filter for my /events pages is working now!

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Plugin Filter I set up no longer worksHi All,
Thank you; however, it looks like the case may be different with me. Selective Plugin Loading is still enabled on my side, so I don’t know if that is the issue. Is there something else I should be checking?
I took a screenshot, in case it helps: https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QARTbhC9p1A/WeqPrqCFawI/AAAAAAACoXc/1d4upDiYsCUOqXZUxED7nqE_hCzRbDWvwCLcBGAs/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2017-10-20%2Bat%2B5.02.49%2BPM.png
When creating the plugin filter, it might be that I’m just not getting it filled out correctly so I thought I’d check. I am so sorry to be a hassle for you.
We’re a nonprofit and our volunteers put in their own events (lots of ’em!) so I know I won’t be able to get them to remember to manually turn off “Bottom of every post” plugin for their event post. That’s why I think your second idea, creating the plugin filter is the best bet —?just setting it and forgetting it, basically (so I don’t also have to go back in and manually remember to shut off each time, too :).
However, I filled it out as directed, even tried a few different protocols like http and https (even though I have the Global settings so that the protocol doesn’t matter) and dragged the “Bottom of every post” plugin (the second one in the list in the screenshot) over to all three “Disabled” sections (Not Logged In, Default Logged In, Administrator), saved, then cleared the site cache and browser cache but it’s still not working. :/
I can’t think of what else to add here to help get it figured out; if you have any questions, let me know.

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Plugin will not activateIt’s working now. Maybe it just needed 24 hours to be recognized for some reason?

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Plugin will not activateHi Jeff, yes, the site is cached, and when I click “activate” WordPress says it’s been activated in a confirmation message at the top of the plugin screen, but when I scroll to the plugin, it is not activated. I haven’t seen this happen with the other plugins we have, so not sure what is causing it.
Super excited to use it, though!
