When Editing the plugin creates new Post type

    I believe the new update has some major issues. On Edit Post Type tab, I cannot edit post type’s url or plural label and so on. If I do so, I end up with a new post type; i.e. editing creates new post type. Could fix the issue.

    Can you provide some steps that you’re doing that are causing the issue(s) at hand? I’m not managing to recreate any noticeable regressions. I assume you’re referring to 1.17.1 for the version, which restored some missed label autopopulation from 1.17.0.

    I know 1.17.0 had a lot of behind the scenes javascript juggling, but all of that should only be enhancement and the plugin should still save and work without javascript.

    Also if you’re wanting/needing to edit the original slug chosen, you should also check the checkbox about migrating the posts, otherwise yes it will “duplicate” it. This is a detail that was originally a bit of an “oops” that we realized was actually also under documented quick duplicate functionality. Thus we’ve not “fixed” it.
