I’m an idiot, didnt read the FAQ’s.. I was missing the wp_footer php..

Well, now its back again.. lol

Came up that it was closed, and i couldnt find it on the matra sub forum list at all until just now..

I did post it in the sub forum, i posted pretty much the exact same post as here, in there. I also posted my solution, as i did in this thread, BUT as i suspected would happen, the post got closed/deleted. There is no sign of it over on the mantra sub forum.

ok, after some sniffing around i found a way to remove it. Might not be the best way, but it worked for me..

Under editor>mantra>theme-functions.php
scrolled down until i found the “site info” and scrolled a little further until i found
add_action(‘cryout_footer_hook’,’mantra_site_info’,12);

And just added underneath – remove_action(‘cryout_footer_hook’,’mantra_site_info’,12);

Thought id post my solution up for anyone else who searches for it.

Thanks mate, but i cant see the developers who man that forum being very helpfull when it comes to removing this. They werent very helpfull in previous posts about this.

I have changed and removed the footer in previous different themes but most of them were just text based changed in the footer.php, never had to do anything with a hook. Not even sure what it is..

oh, and i know its to support the developers, and i do, but i just would like it with a nice clean footer.

Nevermind, i worked it out.

Not sure why, but the updated gallery doesnt add the [galler link=”file”] code. I had to manually add it in next to the [gallery ids]

So its only hidden in the compatibility view on IE9? because thats the IE i tried it on. Not sure if i was in compatibility view though.

ok, the drag resize function only works with IE…not chrome..

Not sure why..but thats the problem.

sorry, my theme is thesis.

Not sure if i was clear at first. the resize im talking about, was just a dotted line around the picture in the visual editor, and you could drag it bigger or smaller. has this function been removed? or is it something code related..
