In reply to: [SurveyPress] does not import user db to LS from WPI’m having the same problem- nothing I do in the backend seems to actually activate an export of the WP users into the LS database.
I’m getting the same error (except line 160 instead of 181), and I’m using version 1.1.0. It used to work fine, until I upgraded to WordPress 3.1.1.

In reply to: DreamHost 404 when working in adminYeah, but I’m not even sure my stuff has all been moved over to the VPS– I show almost no usage, even though it’s been 12 hours and it all should have moved by now.
I guess I’ll go poke DH and see if they can tell me that much, at least.

In reply to: DreamHost 404 when working in adminDreamHost has been a bit reticent at answering what my memory limit actually is; I currently have three installs, one of which is semi-plugin heavy, and one of which is fairly heavy on plugins. None are redundant though…as part of all that tweaking I made sure to get rid of any plugins I’m not using, and I don’t have any google analytics plugins.
Each install has a limit of 90mb of RAM, though, and the sites only range from like 25-35mb according to the memory usage plugin.

In reply to: DreamHost 404 when working in adminI’ve been talking to them throughout this whole process of trying to track down these 404s…spent hours and hours tweaking everything to try and lessen my memory usage to get those procwatch kills to stop. Sigh!

In reply to: DreamHost 404 when working in adminWell, so far it’s been some 12+ hours and I haven’t gotten an e-mail confirming that my domains have been moved over to the VPS, just a couple of notifications about WordPress updates that I’m guessing are related (but might not be?).
I’m pretty confident I’ll be spending this weekend moving away from DreamHost…just gotta decide where to -_-

In reply to: DreamHost 404 when working in adminWell, here’s a plus: turns out I hadn’t actually set up the domains *on* the VPS yet (although now I’m disconcerted that my VPS records show some usage despite having no domains).
Will get back to you once I’ve set it up properly.

In reply to: DreamHost 404 when working in adminI’m no expert, but wouldn’t commenting out all of those lines cut WordPress off from the database it needs to run? >_>

In reply to: DreamHost 404 when working in adminI’m having this same problem, also with DreamHost, even after doing the VPS trial. I’m trying your wp-config fix to see if it makes a difference, but I wanted to chime in that VPS will not necessarily fix things.
Having this same problem– I changed the code per Jeff’s recommendation and reactivated the plugin and got this:
“The plugin generated 310 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”
Deactivated and deleted the plugin and my home page is still showing these errors.
Reinstalled and reactivated the plugin and got another unexpected output error (this time 308 characters). The missing argument errors still show on my site, but ONLY on the main index, where it seems to be breaking my top menu (not a ‘custom menu’).
Totally confused here. <_<

In reply to: Problem with Rating PluginsIn case anyone else has a similar problem, mine was a conflict with the WP Minify plugin. Deactivating Minify fixed ratings.

In reply to: Tags: List Instead of DropdownI wish the dropdown list one I found on the same page worked as well– it keeps reloading the tag list every time I add a tag to a post, and I have a ton of tags so it’s quite a nuisance.

In reply to: Tags: List Instead of DropdownI’d like to know what plugin you found to get even a dropdown list. I can’t even find that much!
EDIT: I found a site that mentions both a dropdown plugin and a list plugin. I have a ton of tags so I’m going to try out the dropdown, but this list one might be the kind of thing you’re looking for?

In reply to: All text is boldI got the same problem when I upgraded to 2.3.1 from 2.2– all of my entries except the most recent couple are bold.
