In reply to: Cannot add menu itemsThe menu supports sub-menu’s. I’ve done the htaccess vars edit and now it works. I guess that wasn’t really solved in 4.5 then. ??

In reply to: [Really Simple Share] Remove ReadyGraphYes, because of the mess on other updates, I was still on an older version. I updated it now and found the cleverly hidden “delete” link. Clicked that and that is a big difference. Thanks.
Still think this needs attention from the developers to make that ‘optional’ choice a bit clearer though.

In reply to: [Really Simple Share] Remove ReadyGraphAt the moment I don’t even get that far…
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/[SNIP]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/really-simple-facebook-twitter-share-buttons/extension/readygraph/header.php on line 119
Ok, apparently Wordfence is blocking the site based on traffic coming from the IP of the proxy for the hosting service. Very annoying.
They say the REMOTE_ADDR and HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR have been set correctly, but apparently the plugin does not check for REMOTE_ADDR correctly.
I can give you more info on the server settings by mail if you want. I have whitelisted the proxy IP in Wordfence now, but that also means that attacks might be more successful as it won’t block them based on the server they came from.
Help greatly appreciated.
For me, both 5.3.8 and 5.3.11 now give the same result. It takes the site offline.
There was no caching active on the site when Wordfence was active.

Yes, I updated Wordfence this morning.

In reply to: [Easy Responsive Tabs] Tabs do not work, just show strange codeIn the end I changed the design and didn’t use this plugin. However, if you look at the top code, I think it was solved by just doing a break in between the shortcode and the text.
So, where I wrote:
[restab title="Wat kun je?"]Aan het einde van de training:
It should have been:

In reply to: [Fourteen Extended] Fourteen Extened has dissappeared????I doubt it is a security issue. Mainly because the developer, Zulfikar Nore, posts on his website:
As you may have noticed, Fourteen Extended is currently not available for download at WordPress repository.
The code needs re-review and reworked so that it is forward compatible and safe for use going forward.
For more details on this please contact me.
The plugin is available on GitHub for forking and for pull requests – this is a community plugin and anyone can contribute in any which way they can.
On another topic, you will have notice my recent absence which was due to ill health and I’m further delayed by my other bread and butter projects. With this in mind, please be aware that support in the forum both here and at www.remarpro.com will be very limited for sometime. I will however, give as much support as I can fit in and hope to get back the normal level of support I was giving before as soon as possible.
Once again thank you for reading and for your support thus far – much appreciate your understanding.
Zulf.

In reply to: Plugins have disappeared from WP install and cannot reinstallYes, have been doing that, but that is a tedious job. Frustrating.
And now it turns out that one of the plugins is no longer available. That sucks. ??

In reply to: Lost my access…LOL, how about that for stupidity… Must be Friday afternoon…
Anyway, the update did it. I am probably going to restructure the whole thing again anyway, so the database is not a big concern of mine. Nor are the plugins. I just wanted to know whether I could still access it. Don’t know what was wrong at first, but the 3.9.1 apparently did the trick. Even though I know I should not have done it that way in the first place. If it hadn’t worked, I would have rebuilt the thing from scratch. (Backups were made before all this btw.)
Thanks!
