I have tried to syncronize the taxonomies, main picture and other items on original and translated posts, but it has only made the problem worse. Now the original post loses its main picture and the tags keep on not appearing. I will report all bugs that happen as I try new solutions. So far, no success.

Apparently, yes, but it demands a code change. I am still looking for an easier alternative. And also if such a change would pay off or not.

Good questions, Denis! Nevermind about the repetition. Your doubt is exactly what I wanted to do, but without compromising the automatic setup related to the browser’s preferences.

I do have some practice in editing files, but I wonder if there is any other way to get this done. I’ll probably redirect all websites to the main two and get it fixed this way. It will be easier if I manage to do so. Let’s see.

Apart from the language being set from the URL that is accessed, it would be nice to preserve the automatic language setting according to the browser’s setup. The URL setting does not give me that option. I know I will probably have to choose among one thing or the other, but if there is any way to have both, that would be great. Chrystl, I have no idea how to access the wp-config.php file… I thought I just needed to click on Edit on Polylang and that the file would be there, but I have not found it. If you or anyone else could help me on that, I would be really thankful!

Yes. I just need the ones that access URLs such as “.com.br” to land in the Portuguese content. From there, they will most surely remain seeing all that has been written in this language.

Erichie, it seems to have been an instability. Now the system is working fine, even with pictures on the post. Sorry to disturb you, but I think that even if it was temporary, that information may somehow be useful for the development of the plug-in. And allow me once again to thank you guys for it.

I’ll publish an article with images in a few minutes and will let you know, erichie. My guess would be that it is still happening, but let’s check it.

Just confirming my previous supposition, it is correct: when I add pictures to the post text, translation halts… But it id not happen before.

I have updated the plug-in, followed the instructions and now everything seems to be working. Thank you for the assistance, erichie!

I am getting the same problem. And I have just started to use Lingotek. How can I make sure my server can “make those outgoing calls to” Lingotek API Server, erichie?
