Very glad to see Moustafa Soufi’s assurance that a “fixed” version will be released soon. I’ve had 0 stats of ANY sort showing, presumably since updating (anyway, since around 11/15/2018). But my site has so much traffic and so many high-density pages that shutting off cache plugins is NOT an option. I can survive (unhappily) without stats but not without the cache functions.
So again, yay in advance for the forthcoming repairs.
Post Stats came back on its own. WP Stats still down.
No answers (yet, anyway), but the same problem exists on my lone site. Total stats crash (both Post Stats and WP Statistics plugins) about 10 days ago, flat line, brain dead. My entire setup is as simple as it gets, basically a glorified word processor, pure default used for text and sometimes images, nothing custom, with never anything like this happening since I built the site in 2012-2013. The only “changes” other than a rare header photo change are WP-sanctioned updates for themes, WP editions, and plugins.
Which leads me to suspect the most recent update. Unfortunately, I don’t keep a record of updates and have no clue what the last one was…maybe Fast Cache update, but wouldn’t swear by that in a court of law.

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Random Duplicate TextJes, it’s definitely a problem with the editor, and yes, it’s only been happening during the past few months. Sometimes the page will “let” me fix it–and sometimes it won’t, necessitating the post’s removal to an entirely new page (and deletion of the original post). It’s not always caused by hitting the Enter button, either. I wrote a fiction chapter (post) tonight that looked like it was going to run about 2,500 words…until I realized there was duplication happening in seemingly random locations I had not instigated in any way, shape, or form. After repair, the chapter was a mere 2,013 words.
Even worse, I’ve had a few pages (especially in really long posts, say 5,000 words and up) where I deleted the duplication in Edit mode but the Published version still showed the extra “goodies.” (Those are the pages where I end up moving the whole thing to an entirely new WordPress page for lack of a better solution.
