I’m using the wp-hide-dashboard plugin so the user gets directed to their profile anyway… So I have an empty left menu, hence why I would like to remove for subscribers only, as admins will obviously still need it… Any ideas on this?

I’m refering to the whole left section that subscribers will see when they login (it contains the dashboard and profile links etc)… I have already tried the wp-hide-dsahboard plugin but it doesn’t remove it..

Becuase some of them have “wordpress” in them.

Well thanks for your insight on wordpress plugins and gpl… I think even if I decided to give it away free, someone might get upset, but I was just unsure how it works. Do note though, I never said I will be selling it, being unfamilliar with these licenses I rather wanted to know if I could, if I ever wanted… Thanks again.

The plugin is not listed in the wordpress site… Basically I bought it from a freelancer, and of course I understand in some aspects it may not be nice. But in my situaton, I have paid for it, and can see that an improvement can be made. Before I even think about selling it though, I would like to make sure I can, as I wouldn’t like to cause upset.

What I’m not sure about is given that the freelancer sold it to me saying its not for resale, does that hold any value if I make a personal change to it to suit my needs more, and then decide to sell my version afterwards?

I have removed those lines from the two files already (after doing some searching on the matter) however they still appear? Where else could it be please?
