I found my problem the code for the post was duplicated when I copied my Adsense code from the previous theme.

I resolved my issue with the visual editor using @andreD300 steps plus a few more that solved my problem.

1. In WP admin panel Tools > Upgrade > Reinstall
2. In Firefox Tools > Clear Private Data
3. In WP admin panel Settings > WP super cache > Delete cache
4. Log out
5. log back in

Initially when I logged back in it looked like the problem was not solved. When I switched from html to visual mode the editor was back.I hope this helps.

I had to do the same thing but with a different plugin. I had to manually delete Ozh Drop Down Menu for the menus to show up in the left column.

did you add the code to the plugin or to the sidebar code?

Thanks for the tips they worked fine. Fixing all the errors is going to be a hard one but I will get it done.

Rolled back to 2.5. One other note when I initially upgraded it made one of the authors the default profile as well. I will wait to upgrade when the bugs get worked out in a few days.

I just tried to upload an image and got the same message. Clicking the link in the window that opens just brings up the text-editor.
