In reply to: [Stencil] Support for thrive Architect page builder?Hi @1oneup
Would you mind sending us the zip so we could debug it?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Stencil] stencil-admin.js loads on frontendHey Ryan –
Super great point. The reason it’s loaded on the front end is because there are a number of WordPress Post Builder plugins that operate on the front end. Basically meaning when some people write or edit posts, it will take them to the front end for the editing process, rather than stay in the admin area.So to ensure WordPress works with those plugins, we’ve had to load the stencil-admin.js file there as well.
The code is not minified, compressed or obfuscated, so feel free to take a look at the file if you’re interested.

In reply to: [Stencil] Not working in Version 5.2.1Going to close this support request for now, as it’s not specifically a bug. Rather it’s a request to add the Stencil option to the Media Library tab.
Will hopefully get to that soon, but in the meantime for anyone else visiting this page: Stencil only works (at the moment) when attempting to add an image from a Page or Post flow (rather than navigating directly to the Media Library area from your sidebar navigation).

In reply to: [Stencil] Not working in Version 5.2.1Gotcha. I’m guessing it’s a conflict with another plugin (which we’ve run into 5 or 6 times; just need to figure out which one so I can account for it).
I replied back to your Help Ticket. You available for a quick Skype call?

In reply to: [Stencil] Not working in Version 5.2.1I just tested and it appears to be working for me. I’ll re-open that ticket, since I may need to get on a Skype call with you to debug (and see what Plugins you have installed that may be conflicting).

Apologies for the delay in responding. I/we really appreciate your positive review. We also want to thank you for giving us the feedback to integrate the Page Builders. That was a great idea!Don’t be a stranger: let us know if there’s ever anything we can do to make Stencil better. Have a great day!

In reply to: [Stencil] Is there a 1800px width restriction?Yep agreed. Will try and think about another approach or solution. I totally understand that the behaviour could be seen as strange.

In reply to: [Stencil] Is there a 1800px width restriction?Hi @waumsley –
So.. that one’s a bit funny, and I totally understand why it may be confusing. By default, when you save an image, we save one that’s twice as large so that if you want to consider retina/high-density monitors, we already have the image ready for you. When we were working on the WordPress Plugin, we began to ask whether we should export the exact dimensions, or when possible, one that’s twice as big.
The thinking was that if we export the twice as big one, it’ll simply be better quality and ensure that people on new mobile devices or computer monitor displays will see a better quality image.
Does that make sense?

In reply to: [Stencil] One of the best image editors now has and inbuilt WordPress editorThanks for the reply. So we’ve got Beaver Builder and Elementor done, but I’ll take a look at Thrive, Visual Composer and SiteOrigin soon ??
You can bulk delete images by using the SHIFT and/or CTRL keyboard keys to select multiple at once. Then you can right-click on the selected ones, and choose the delete option. Here’s what that looks like: https://i.imgur.com/IP4oi2M.png
Finally: you can create your own sizes. While we offer some defaults (as can be seen here: https://i.imgur.com/5qI0FpP.png), you can navigate over to the Custom tab, and add your own sizes (as can be seen here: https://i.imgur.com/wAimKun.png).
Hope that’s helpful!

In reply to: [Stencil] Is there a 1800px width restriction?Fair point @waumsley I’ll upgrade it to 1920 later today.
The reason there’s a limit in the first place is because without it, there’s a very high chance that many WordPress powered sites run into filesize restrictions. Some of the photos we provide are upwards of 5000x5000px, which we can’t compress enough to make both visually appealing and work with most WordPress installs. So we need to cap it somewhere.
But I’ll make it 1920, since that seems reasonable.
Hope that helps!
