this plugin actually does what you want out of the box to the annoyance of so many people. in fact, if you will make a survey of people who actually wants to replace the built-in wp comments with fb comments, instead of showing both wp comments and fb comments in a blog post, you will be amazed at the indignation.

this update/s messed my site particularly the sidebar and comments sections. i uninstalled this plugin and installed the previous working version but it still messed up my site. the only solution was to remove it completely and also delete anything that referenced to fb. what a way to update it facebook!!!wtf

do you have any idea on how to hack the manual placement of the LIKE and SEND button placing it right after the blog post title rather than the present’s case of it being placed at the beginning of the blog post content if one chose TOP. thanks

Is there a way to manually place the “like” and “send” button, rather than it be placed at the beginning of content post???? what should be ideal is that this be put instead right after blog post title. also the fb comments should also not be put right after a blog post. it should be the blogger who should have the control on where to put all these buttons rather than FB putting it wherever they want. and its true, it seems like after two revisions of this plugin, none of the suggestions have been made a reality.

it suddenly reappeared after i deactivated the plugin and then reactivated it. all the same, it is weird for this plugin to even behave that way.

SUGGESTION:

Enable this plugin’s FB comments and still have the existing non FB comments (wordpress) to appear.

Some of the existing comments (that disappeared) were from disqus/intensedebate/wordpress and some were made weeks/months/years ago by folks with existing Facebook accounts.

well then, how do we “preserve” thousands of existing comments, rather than it be replaced by this plugin? will this work with disqus? or is it that the only solution is to disable facebook comments?

no. facebook will save it for ya.

no such plugin or theme used. as i’ve said, i have TRIED mULTISITE IN LIKE 5 MINUTES AND THEN deleted the line in wp-config, multisite(true). Then the images problem came up.

the post has previously been published but i wanted it unpublished or deleted. since unpublished is easier than delete, as mass delete cannot be done, i choose unpublished. no luck!
