I get the same

I’m not really sure what happened, but it just worked. I didn’t change anything. No updates or major code changes. Kinda weird, but it seems fine now.

Same issue, saving has no effect.

So the entire process is…
I click edit Facebook.
Click choose from Fontawesome Icon.
Search Facebook
Both Facebook and Facebook F appear to be the same.
Choose Facebook F and Icon appears as Facebook Square in the admin.
Then on Save, it’s changed to Facebook F in the admin.
But on the front end the Facebook Square is displayed.

I have triple checked that I have chosen Facebook F in that admin.

I am using the Disable Gutenberg plugin. Seems to be working fine and removes the GUT-NAG.

I appreciate all the hard work you have put into this, I really do. But it wasn’t an effective use of resources. Why bother when VC, Elementor, Beaver…. etc already exist. You have so much catching up to do to even come close to those editors.

WP should have focused on other areas.

Ummm there are about 50 far more advanced editor plugins for wp already. This is superfluous and poorly built.
