In reply to: [Gutenberg] Titles aren’t being filtered – Gutenberg crashesHi @moviedebuts,
Sorry to hear you’ve been having trouble here.
I’m aware of this issue and I believe it was resolved in
https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/34602#issuecomment-923901650
However, if you are on the latest version of the Gutenberg Plugin and you can still reproduce the error then please do recomment on that Issue (tag me
@getdave
) above with steps to reproduce and someone will take a look.I’ll leave this post open for a while to allow you time to respond.
The title field should accept only numbers and letters. Right now it appears to accept any kind of junk.
The filtering code is in place, but the object replacement character was a special case which – because it was in use internally – was able to evade some of the filtering.
Can you provide any other specific examples of other characters that are evading the filtering mechanics?
I’ve brought up this issue various times over the last year and now it needs to be fixed.
Out of interest, please could you let me know where you have brought this up as I’d like to investigate why it wasn’t addresses earlier.
All the very best,

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg radio control stop to workingHi @yogeshyadav20,
Sorry to hear you’ve been having trouble.
I checked and it looks like the Radio controls are working ok in the latest Gutenberg.
Please see: https://wordpress.github.io/gutenberg/?path=/story/components-radiocontrol–default
I was working in my site using blocks from GamiPress with the radio control
I’m not familiar with GamiPress but it looks to be a Plugin which also provides a suite of blocks?
If so then you will need to reach out to the authors of the Plugin for support on this issue.
Of course, if you can provide details of an error with Gutenberg without any Plugins then please do let us know.
All the very best,
David

In reply to: [Gutenberg] content uneditableHi @vibethemes
Unfortunately I can’t view your video without downloading.
Any chance you could upload to somewhere which will host and allow your video to be played without downloading?
Also please can you provide some additional detail about the steps required to reproduce the error you expeerienced.
Finally please include the version of the Gutenberg Plugin are you using and which version of WordPress.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Gutenberg widgets block editor stinks!Hi @rosenborg,
I’m sorry you feel this way.
However, the feature – like all of WordPress is never finished. Therefore if you have concerns then I would encourage you to raise these as Issues and advocate for them to be addressed (for example by joining the Core Editor chats).
You can’t edit in HTML mode
This is raised at https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/33518.
The Widgets Editor will continue to improve.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Need help – Gutenberg theme developmentWhen there is a function for developers that lock an specific block on a specific position on a specific post type. That would be the moment gutenberg makes sense to use for the more extensive websites.
I am aware there is effort underway to achieve locking at a block level.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Content uneditable ProblemSorry to hear you’re having trouble.
Could you share which version of the Gutenberg Plugin you are running?
Also (ideally on a Staging site – always backup!) please try disabling all your Plugins and check whether the error still occurs. If not then re-enable Plugins one by one until the error re-appears.
Finally are there any other errors shown in your browser’s developer tools console drawer?
Looking forward to hearing back.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] The editor has encountered an unexpected error.Hi @alexcc1,
You you share what version of the Gutenberg Plugin you are running and which version of WordPress?
Also (ideally on a Staging site – always backup!) please try disabling all your Plugins and check whether the error still occurs. If not then re-enable Plugins one by one until the error re-appears.
Finally are there any other errors shown in your console as the one you posted doesn’t provide that much information for us to help debug.
Looking forward to hearing back.
Many thanks

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Need help – Gutenberg theme development@tatof glad you found it useful.
There’s also the Full Site Editing course which you might find useful.
This is not an official recommendation but rather something I’m aware of that might help you.
Best of luck!
@flexer it looks like @oandregal has merged a fix for this issue. It won’t be available in the Plugin until the next release which is 11.6.0.
However if you’d like to test and verify you can install the Nightly from https://gutenbergtimes.com/need-a-zip-from-master/#nightly and see if that’s done the trick.
Please do let us know. Much appreciated.
I’ve asked one of the team working on this for info. I’ll also try and add it to the next Core Editor agenda.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] force a wrapped image to stack on mobileGreat voice by the way ~ you should be a doctor or on the radio
I appreciate the complement! ??
One problem with this method is the text does not wrap around image…https://heritagecountrypottery.com/abouts/
It’s a tricky one. You could move some of the text into a paragraph block below the Media + Text. That might reduce the severity of the effect.
Another option is adding some custom CSS to your Theme to cancel the alignment on certain screen sizes.
For more on this see the
Fixing left and right image mobile alignments with CSS
section of this article.Perhaps we need a way to make inline images stack on mobile. I raised an issue in the Gutenberg repo to track this as a potential requirement.

It looks like there hasn’t be any further response here so I’m going to close this one out.
