Apologies! You got back to me before I was able to get back to you!

Could you specify what image setting you are referring to?

In my media manager, I already have the alt tags written there.

As I said, the problem only occurs on the product page itself.

    EX: https://www.fuller-electronics.com/services/shop/appl-0001 and https://www.fuller-electronics.com/catalog/appliances

As you can see, as a linked image, the alt tag is present, but when you go to the product page itself, the alt tag is missing.

Yep! I am seeing the same thing, even with the previous update.

Also, don’t try to use hex! I tried to replace it with 10094; and the dropdown broke.

Thank you. I appreciate it! I imagine this must be some sort of ISP shenanigans now, but regardless, thank you. ??

    Following up…

I am sorry, but I do not wish to publicly disclose my IP address. Also note, I am not using Securi. Everything in my log post with a ?? is direct from the log. I only changed the domain name and IP.

My server uses Imunify360; no Cloudflare. For plugins, I use Wordfence for security and LiteSpeed Cache with compatible server.

I do not have this issue present so long as I do not update the plugin. I think that perhaps the ?? being blocked from non-crawlers is what may have changed between versions.

Based on the log I do see that I appear to be switching between two IP addresses. While both are assigned the correct ISP, country, city and state when checking the IPs, I see that one has ?? in most of the query and the other has the needed data. I am not running a VPN or proxy either on my computer or on the model/router, so I can only assume my ISP is doing this.

When logging into the modem/router, which is ISP supplied, I confirm that the DHCP is based on the IP that has ?? and not the other with data. The two IPs are not from the same set; the first six number do not match, for example.

The ISP is Cox Communications West.

Okay. Hopefully this will help Author and OP.

    1. Managed to get the host to fix cloud recovery to a stable point.
    2. Created manual backups of the WP installation and database, just in case.
    3. Logged into the back end.
    4. Went to plugin settings and added my IP to the whitelist on the front and back end. Important.
    5. Enabled logging. Confirmed .log file was created in the folder.
    6. Cleared cache (Litespeed).
    7. Updated plugin. Cleared the cache again.
    8. Logged out. Attempt to log back into the backend.
    9. Login successful.

I solved it by whitelisting my IP; however, this is only a stopgap. Note: I have all countries save the USA blocked. There is no reason why I should have to whitelist my IP since it is located in the USA. I am not using a proxy. I do, however, notice that the plugin isn’t recognizing if the IP is a proxy or even what country it is from.

But, that said, front end traffic for my USA IP is not being blocked despite these criteria being unknown. Locabrowser confirmed that USA is not blocked, but it and GeoPeeker also determined that most countries were no longer blocked.

For the time being, I will refrain from updating the plugin until this can be addressed and have recovered my WP installation to a stable version. I hope this helps.

I have already attempted the recovery action to revert my website before this update could cause damage. Unfortunately, I am now confronting a server error from the cloud and will need to contact my host company to try and salvage my WP installation.

    Dear Plugin Author,

I am having the same issue. After update, I am suddenly blocked from logging into my backend and being given an error 403. I have to revert the site to before the update to fix the issue.

Also, please note that the user above cannot get into the backend, so they cannot enable any option in the plugin unless they are able to revert with a recovery tool, log in, enable the option and then update again for the log.

@pobblebonk That makes sense. If it occurs again, I will try that. Based on the symptoms, it would make sense that it is a permalink issue that may have been solved in the last update. Anyway, I am going to close this thread. I appreciate the help from both the author and you as well!

I am not sure if you changed anything, but with the latest update the error didn’t reoccur.

I updated the plugin after your release of 1.6.13 and everything worked fine. No error.

Thank you so much for the prompt response and fix!

Love your plugin and appreciate your quick turnaround.

Hello. I checked in my plugin and saw that there is a specific taxonomy for this product categories. After changing it, I was able “fix” the problem.

    Thank you you the assistance.

I was confused primarily because my blog categories and even the product items can have the titles and meta content changed individually and be different from the default that’d be set in the SEO plugin settings. Sorry.

Anyway, I appreciate the prompt response.

    To clarify:
Obvious on desktop computer or other large viewport device, at any extended width and up to break of ~649px. Not obvious at break, as it meant to be.

The padded area is the exact height of the button (60px). In inspector console, unchecking the style, which is sourced from the page itself (ex, index.php), removes the padding.
