Installing the classic-widgets plugins does the same as adding
add_filter( ‘use_widgets_block_editor’, ‘__return_false’ );
in functions.php of Colormag.
So yes i can still use the classic widgets.
But i cannot use the new block widgets with Colormag as my complaint says in this support question. Will you be solving this later on?

Also tried a new WP 5.9 multisite installation.

Could only upload and activate Colormag in the network dashboard not in site dashboard.

Imported demo site.
Only Colormag plugins activated.

Same problem not resolving Colormag widgets:

Took me some time but i tried your suggestion on a clone of my installation.
It showed me that the active plugin MAILPOET is giving the troubles by producing errors with the widgets of Colormag!
Can you test and solve this now for me perhaps?

Same error with ColorMag in networkversion WP as in standardversion WP with blockwidgets as of WP 5.8.

Standardversion WP has been solved by you for ColorMag.
Network verion still has this problem:

Classicwidgets version works fine.
Blockwidgets cannot load!

Still using workaround in functions.php now:
add_filter( ‘use_widgets_block_editor’, ‘__return_false’ );

The “colormag_featured_posts_widget” block was affected by errors and may not function properly. Check the developer tools for more details.

The freeware version update to 2.09 solves the problems in WP single site now.
Unfortunately my multisite WP version still remains in problems with the new widgets.
Please investigate.

Same problem

Besides one of my providers complaint that i was producing MYSQL .frm files for every pageview, deactivating CVG was also the solution here.

still same problem with verion 1.9.26 unfortunately

@niknetniko tried 1.9.25.2 also now, didn’t help either.

@niknetniko i am running 1.9.25.3 and tried to go back to 1.9.25 which didn’t help.

On my sites running WP 4.1 and CVG 1.9 it works fine without quotes.
Oke it would be better if it is fixed by CVG specially if you have a lot of videos spreading around your site(s).
