It sounds like you need to move all the files in the blog directory to the root and change both the site address and the blog address to https://www.posnick.com/

Have you tried this? You would really need to move the entire installation to keep relative links from breaking.

Podz – genius. I think I’ll email the hosting address, this is ridiculous! I had no idea the support was so poor.

Any recommendations for a future host? Media Temple?

Closed the door, Podz. They’ve ‘identified’ the source as being the root index.php in my installation. If you look at the site you get ‘No input file specified’ in FireFox. IE gives you nothing.

The whole thing sounds preposterous! I’ve been back and forth by email, but getting nothing useful in response. “Try contacting the authors of wordpress for a patch” was the latest stunning advice. I’m on version 2.0, for crying out loud!
