Is there any limit on number of pages/posts a folder can contain?

Yes, something like get_next_item_link() and get_previous_item_link().

I agree that that would be nice but one challenge I see is that pages can be assigned to multiple folders.

Yes, that would be one use case. My use case is different and I am pretty sure no pages will be assigned to more than 1 folder.

Nevermind, it just a suggestion and would be extremely helpful for people with the latter use case.

BTW, after enabling the legacy mode, I found this page:

As you can see, this page allows us to change the sort order. But It doesn’t actually change the value of order attribute.

I’m still not quite sure I understand what you mean about the previous and next links. Are you referring to the front-end?

Yes I mean in the front-end.

Here you go.

Most of the time pages inside a folder belong to a particular topic. Let’s say I am creating a series to teach “arduino programming”. In this case, my folder name will be “arduino programming” and all the pages inside it belong to “arduino programming”, so it makes sense to automatically create previous and next link to pages.

I hope you get the idea.

BTW, I have just updated the plugin to version 2.10.1 and still experiencing the first issue.

Hi

I am not able to do sorting via drag and drop at all.

The way to change the page order is to manually change the order attribute value.

Feature Request: Although, I am able to organize my pages and posts. But I still have to manually create next and previous links for the pages in the folder. Consider adding this feature in the future release.
