Interesting question. I never expected anyone to want something other than “Public” for the default group, so I never made any options for that.
If you are comfortable editing the plugin file directly, you could replace the values for “id” and “name” on line 149, though. Obviously this would be a bit of a hack and I haven’t tested it, but I think it would work.
