UPDATE: After the weekend the new plugin was send to me and the bug I did report was solved.

I just bought a pro version, and the problem is stille there.

hmm I have the latest WordPress version and I am on PHP version 5.5.31.
Could the Genesis Network, or the Child Theme be an issue?

Sorry even version 2.7 did not fix this. Running latest version of WP and Genesis with Child Theme.

Now how do I remove those lines, I just don’t understand as I cannot find the words in the code…

I have the same problemas Deadpanthoughts here above. The API I use is from a deleted wordpress.com blog. I registered for a new blog and contacted support. But contacting support doesn’t help. They don’t get back in thouch with me.
How can I get this statts plugin going?
Please someone give me a decent answer that works… Do the people of Support read the forums?

I had the same problem, indeed WP did not recognize the faulty conversion.

I had the same problem. With the conversion the database went kaput. Install the backup of your database via MyPHP. Then ugrade.php again. I hope you did make a backup.
This is not a plugin problem, I doubt it has to do with categories or tags.

Otto, I dropped all tables in MyPHP. Uploaded the backed-up database. Then re-run upgrade.php, and now voila everything seems fixed. All plugins were disabled, it must have been the conversion of the database. So glad I made a back up!

I think something went wrong with the database conversion that is done while upgrading to 2.3.
I have no default “link categorie” nor do I have a default “post categorie”.

Any sugestions for a fix?

Otto, honestly I have no clue what your talking about. Like I said before, upgrading used to be easy. I do not now what an SQL querie is. Up to now all WP themes worked fine and some plugins did not work well together. I can understand that and this is the reason why I liked blogging with WordPress. So now I do not understand why the database broke down in my own blog, this upgrade round. I don’t know if it’s the theme or anything else…

P.S. even when I use a 2.3 ready theme (for example Silverlight) the database keeps broken…

I will do the same tomorrow, Mission. I also made a backup of the database. Where cn I download 2.2 ( I have over written those files).
Damn this version! Upgrading used to be smooth. Now I have a broken blog running. 2.3 = not recommendable for non-coders (like me).

Okay why is the new version 2.3 advertised as most themes are not compatible?

Now if I would use the classic theme this message should not appear right. But I do have a database error.
Do I have another problem here?
