In reply to: How to stop site links from opening in new window? Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I’ve cleared my cache a number of times, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect on the behavior. (If you know of a better way to clear a cache definitively than via the browser settings, I’m all ears.)
I have noticed a pattern to whether or not the links open in a new window or not. When I am on the home page, all links behave appropriately, but on any other page they open in a new tab/window whether they are coded to do so or not. Doesn’t seem to matter what browser I am using or how sternly I instruct my browser to clear the cache. ??
Here is a link to a live copy of the site and below is a screenshot of the behavior I’m trying to correct.

In reply to: How to stop site links from opening in new window? Thanks for the suggestion. In TwentySixteen the post title links open in the same window, but the menu links and site banner still open in new windows… although I have gotten it to sporadically open one or two of the links in the same window. It’s inconsistent though, which is super weird.
I’m setting up a dev version of the site so I can share a link with everything disabled and twentysixteen installed just to make sure I don’t have something cached still. I’ll send it over in a few minutes.

In reply to: How to stop site links from opening in new window?Note: this is a link to the live site where the plugins are all still active, but it is the same behavior with them all disabled.
Some of the links in the sidebar are hard coded to open in a new window, but all of the menu and post title links open in a new window as well and are not coded to do so in the source code. (As far as I can tell.)
Thanks again for taking a look at this!

In reply to: How to stop site links from opening in new window?Sorry guys… here is a link: Brave Girls Club
Thanks so much for the quick replies!
I’d also be interested in the answer to this… it seems like this is probably not possible using the plugin because the page refresh would reload the tabbed section, and whatever the default tab in the shortcode would be the one that is open when it reloads, regardless of which tab you had open prior to the refresh. Would be awesome if it could reload to the same tab that was active as mentioned above.

Seems like WordPress is saying that this is not in error. Do you have a plugin that manages users passwords?
I use PilotPress, and it definitely manages users’ passwords, so that is probably the culprit on my site.
There is a temporary workaround in the above post, but it looks like PilotPress needs to rework how it manages/updates passwords.

In reply to: Notice of Password change upon login after updating to WP4.3Oh ok… I don’t know why I couldn’t find anything earlier. I must have been dreaming that I searched for it.
I had to rename the jetpress plugin on the server side, log in, rename it to jetpack on the server side to re-enable it, and then disable the “Protect” feature.
I followed the directions at the link above and now get the WSOD when I try to log in.

In reply to: [PilotPress] Pilot Press Login Page Permission IssueI’ve noticed that if you log in as a wordpress admin it overrides any pilotpress membership levels associated with the user account. Are you seeing that when trying to access something like the customer center or affiliate center?

In reply to: [Contact Form 7 Datepicker] date picker browser compatibilityGlad you got it working newzealandnz… mine ended up being a theme issue.

In reply to: Date Fields not working properlyI found out that it was a conflict with a plugin (optimizepress). I created the page on my default theme page and it works great now.

In reply to: Date Fields not working properlyThanks aysiu… I’m going to pass this on the the developers of the form to see if they can identify if this is the issue, but the problem I’m experiencing does not exhibit exactly the same behavior as the code in the jsfiddle example.
Would that explain why it would work normally outside of wordpress, but not so when hosted on a wordpress page?
