    Hi Amanda

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately your login URL still gave the same result.

However I did eventually manage the fix the problem myself.

For future reference to anyone who encounters this problem of a Plugin not installing fully which will then not allow you to activate/deactivate it because there is not tick-box showing in the plugins panel the best way to solve the issue is to access the site via FTP, manually upload the offending Plugin (Unzipped) to overwrite the version currently present, and then go back to your WP Admin Panel and see if the plugin has now got a tick-box you can click. If it has then you are in luck and you can simply deactivate the plugin and that should fix the issue.

If on the other hand the tick-box is still not showing the go back to your FTP and Comment out the plugin (rename it by adding _off) and then return to your WP dashboard and you should not be able to see the plugin listed there and your site will return to normal operations.

Not all plugins/Themes are set up to work on Multi User sites so this can sometimes cause these problems so I generally contact the support of the vendor and mention the problem so that they either fix the problem or make other users of the Plugin/Theme aware of the possible problem

Easy way to fix it is to re-upload version 4.6 to overwrite via ftp. when the upload has finished go back to you site admin area and the older version 4.6 will back up. Next de-activate all plugins and then do the update to 4.7. When the update is complete just reactivate your plugins and it will all work fine. Had to do this on about 5 of my sites.

    Hi there
Thanks for getting back so quickly. I checked in the error logs and the errors referenced were all relating to “File name too long” from the W3tc plugin. I then did as you suggest and swithced to “2015” theme (for reference make sure you back up first)and tried de activating all plugins etc.

this seemed to clear the problem so I switched back to my CyberChimps theme and everything worked fine after clearing the caches manually by FTP.

I must assume that there was a pre existing error in either the themes files or w3tc files.

So thanks for your very prompt and helpful support which is very much appreciated.

Hi Stephan, sorry for the late reply, YES this is resolved and the plug in is now working great.

Is there a way to add an another page to the App we build ? for example can we add a page for YoyTube videos from our YouTube channel.

I am very pleased with the way that you have updated the app builder as it is now possible to include my https://appattract.com adverts in to the page your plug in produces so I will be including your FeedNU plug in as a “Highly recommended” compatible App builder in my members area.

I built a Feednu App in about ten minutes using the plugin and submitted to Play.google in another 5 minutes which you can find by searching for “appattract ad exchange”

    Good work Stephan.
