  • Reading random threads here in the forum gave me an idea, and switching to compatibility view “fixes” this issue in IE.

Can’t pin this one on IE, I have exactly the same problem in Opera. I have manually deleted and replaced wp-admin and wp-includes, cleared browser cache, re-uploaded theme, but problem persists. This was working fine with the same theme a few days ago, and suddenly I have this problem.

    Anybody have any thoughts?

Anybody know where to find the code to reposition this window?

By the way, the “edit image” window opens properly on posts where the image is already in place.

Are you trying to enable wildcard subdomain access? If so, and you have cpanel, unless your host has disabled it you can simply go into cpanel, open the “subdomains” feature and create a subdomain named “*” on your main domain name. Your new subdomain would look like this: *.ogamecentral.com. That will enable wildcard subdomains in cpanel. No need to manually create a separate A record. Doing it manually like you are trying requires an A record AND an alias set up through SSH. Detailed instructions for the manual configuration can be found here:
https://www.nerdydork.com/setting-up-wildcard-dns-subdomains-on-cpanel.html. The shortcut is found in comment 2 from cpanel tech support.

I have a new WP 3.0 mulisite setup where subdomain blogs generated the “cannot display the page” message. I created the “*” subdomain and now all subdomain blogs are up and running.

    Good luck.
