Will you be updated and compatible with the latest Elementor upgrade? I see this plugin as flagged for lack of compatibility. I too have experienced problems on both staging & production sites with two remedies…deactivate your plugin, or revert to back-up with previous version of Elementor.

Answer to #1. I believe it is standard to have SSL on site these days, and yes this fixes the audio/cam issue. I was testing on a dev site without ssl because there is no domain linked to it…wouldn’t work. Dropped both the shortcode and the groups versions into a live site with SSL, worked like a charm.

Seems to be working fine in Safari for me. You need to initiate the setting in Group/Manage/Buddymeet … two checkboxes at the top now instead of one… and one of them is Meet Members.

Is the intention that when ending the call, the video screen just ‘blip’ disappears?

I am getting very close to putting this to users test, and would like to know that it is working as it should with the behaviour I describe.

Thanks. I have now checked. It not longer redirects.

I am not sure if the effect you wished for was embedded video meeting window disappearing altogether. But that is what it does.

Then, upon a browser refresh it comes back.

This solution, although maybe a bit confusing for the user (when something so prominent on the screen just disappears it may cause doubt), it does eliminate having to land on the ‘commercial page’ for 8×8’s Pro Video Conference.

OH yes! And one more thing to note… when I do end the meeting, it INITIALLY goes back to the lesson page that it should go back to. But only for a split second, then it redirects me to the unknown page with /topic at the end of the url string.

As said I have added your suggested snippets to functions.php in the theme but get NO CHANGE. The Password box still does not show-up in the Buddymeet settings.

Somethings else I should consider? Or do you know why this doesn’t work? It is becoming a hinder/security stress.

Yes, this is an interesting question for the re-direct. I have Jitsi built into BuddyBoss and when I hit the end meeting button it gives me a promotion page for 8×8 to buy a pro account from them. 8×8 is a supporter of Jitsi… and it all gives sort of a mixed set of signals. Promoting 8×8 pro as opposed to saying thanks for using Jitsi, for example.

It would be nice to know if a re-direct to a page / lesson in the lms is first ‘possible’, and second how such a redirect could be made.

Tried to find some answers in the Jitsi community. No response.
