In reply to: [EntryWizard] Allow spreadsheet to display user details for editors.Huge thanks for your supper quick response Josie.
I’ll have a bit of a dig then.
Note to self…stick 5 stars where they belong ??
Thanks again,
EugeneProbably because you have to draw the line somewhere.
I maintain another site built with CMSMS. It has 3972 pages. That would be quite a list to fit in a drop down. ??Problem solved and thanks for you quick response.
Call me dumb if you like but I never realized I could type in a search string. I thought the plugin just searched when I clicked in the box.
When the latest version came out I seam to remember a tutorial video. I can’t remember whether I was too clever to watch or just didn’t pay attention.
Great plugin BTW
Cheers,
Eugene.An Addendum.
I don’t know what difference it makes but the pages that are missing from search results all begin with a letter at the far end of the alphabet.
I just created a page starting with “A” and that show as available for inclusion.
So far Nothing after “N” shows up.
Changing page title “A SIG Calendar” to “SIG Calendar” causes it to vanish from the list of available pages.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [EntryWizard] Validation of filename syntax. Is it possible?Hi Josie,
Many thanks for answering my query personally. I’ll report back and explain to the admin team. I agree the idea should be to accept the file name as is, esp as the fact the user is logged in means the picture isn’t “anonymous” (thanks to your spreadsheet).about, since it is so difficult to get people to comply.
Personally I feel that if different people keep making the same mistakes the issue is with the system not the people.
Thanks for writing this plugin, I think we’ll be using it on a regular basis.
No more spammed emails or insane file sizes.
Cheers,

In reply to: [EntryWizard] Validation of filename syntax. Is it possible?Forgot to say…spreadsheets will be downloaded from admin interface.
Images (up to 90± at a time) will be downloaded via FTP.
Not sure if that makes a difference.
Cheers,
Eugene.
Q. Why is always the advanced members that still mess up the files names despite having visual reminders everywhere? ??Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Slideshow] Issues with new install of SlideshowHi Stefan,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the delay in answering. My host has been blessed with server issues so I’ve been off line for a bit.
A live version of the some of the issues can be seen here:
Working Example
The problems do persist and exhibit on all browsers. The issue of the missing load icon isn’t really a concern as most images are optimized so load quickly anyway.
As you will see the title and captions only show on mouse over even though “Show title and description” and Hide same on mouse over are both ticked “Yes”. This again isn’t a major issue, in fact I prefer it that way.
The only real problem is the absence of the url to the full size images, unless I enter it manually which with a lot of slide shows would be a pain.
The only non default settings are height set to 400px instead of 200 and Activate Pagination is set to no. I’ve tried with all settings at their default value and with template 2015 in place with no other plugins. Nothing seams to make a difference.
Thanks for looking into this,
Cheers,

In reply to: [Slideshow] Issues with new install of SlideshowRe the title issue, I don’t really mind it not showing until mouse-over as I think it looks cleaner and it won’t take the user long to work out how to find the image title and captions. I only report it as it functions in the opposite way to how the settings panel suggests. That said I do think the title and description/caption would be better underneath the image rather than over the top of it as a full width banner.
Biggest concern though is the lack of URL. OK it can be added later manually but that is going to be a real pain as this site is going to have many such slide shows in the long term.
The missing loading icon is also a problem when images being show are high res.
Thanks for the continued support by the way.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Slideshow] Issues with new install of SlideshowThank you so much for the replies. I have two wordpress installation on different servers and the issues are the same on both.
I did just deactivate every single plugin on one of the sites and it made no difference at all.

In reply to: Table Press presenting wrong size for thumbnails.Think I’m going to like living in WordPress world ??
Cheers to both ??OMG you really are quick.
Thank you so much Tobias. Another problem out of the way.
Also thanks for producing TablePress in the first place. I’m rebuilding our clubs website (or will do when I learn WP). Our previous editor used to like to build ALL his pages in Dreamweaver, using tables, then paste the code produced into a WP page. I wonder why the old site fell to bits.
Thanks again for your most prompt and comprehensive reply.

In reply to: Table Press presenting wrong size for thumbnails.Cheers Matthew, begging to think nobody cared. ??
I’ll have a go there.
Thanks again.OMG you are a star. Works first time, strait out of the box.
Think I’m going to like this WordPress things. It seams like there is nothing I can think of that somebody cleverer hasn’t thought of before and provided a solution for.
Thank you, thank you, thank you ??
