We are evaluating our options – more customization is obviously good, but we need to mind simplicity as well – I really like that the plugin is “install, authorize, forget” right now don’t want to lose that.

With that being said, I think we are still more on the conservative side and not done yet.

Hi, I am looking into this and how to maybe prevent the issue going forward, but I have no luck – the plugin works for me even with the security module turned on. Could you maybe ask your provider what was the issue? Or something to get us going… You can send it to [email protected]

We’ve encountered this issue for the third time now – I’ve created a tracking issue on our GitHub tracker as well – https://github.com/skaut/skaut-google-drive-gallery/issues/99

Hopefully, we can test this with mod_security somewhere and fix this issue once and for all.

yeah, as you wrote, this is an issue caused by the security module for Apache.

We will look into this issue more, but as a workaround I recommend switching mod_security off while granting the permissions (and then switch it back on ideally as it is a security feature)

I still think this is a problem with the settings of the webhosting. I’ve tried looking this up and unfortunately I didn’t find anything I could do.

V sou?asné době pracujeme na stránkování, které by s tímhle taky mělo pomoct, proto?e se nebudou zobrazovat v?echny slo?ky naráz.

did you have to disable the plugin? Maybe just purging the caches would suffice.

I’ve tried installing the plugin on my testing website (without the whole Apache config shenanigans) and it works so far.

Hi, It looks to me as a problem with another plugin (potentially a conflict between this plugin and another one…)
Do you have any “compression” or “caching” plugins on?
If you omit the gallery from the page, does it load correctly? Could you please try turning off other plugins and seeing which one is the problem? (If I know that, I can try to work around it…)

Hi,
from looking at the documentation of the Drive API, it seems to me that downloading an individual image should not be a problem. For downloading all images, however, the plugin would probably need to download them all, make a zip file and then let you download that – I’m afraid that could be a problem if you want to download a lot of images at once.

That’s just a look at the API though, haven’t tried implementing it yet…
