I was able to test it as a guest and it seems to be working as you mentioned above. I have the owner of one of the websites testing it as well. For her, she might have a problem with the payment options. She offers PayPal and Sezzle, but for Sezzle she has a minimum order requirement and I don’t believe there is any way around that since the checkout is set to allow people to pay with either of those two gateways.

But, the good news is, it seems like it’s a viable option for invoicing one-off customer transactions. Thanks!

I am the customer, however your response made me think I should try another browser because I believe in Chrome I was logged in as the admin versus Safari where I was logged in as the customer. That said, if I don’t add the person as a user (which would generate a password for them) and create a manual order as a guest but enter in all of the information needed (name, email, products being purchased) why can’t they pay if the option checked for “Allow customers to place orders without an account?” They should be able to pay as a guest instead of seeing “Please log in to your account below to continue to the payment form.” Or at the very least perhaps an option to create an account, though I don’t necessarily want to create an account for what is truly a one-off guest purchase.

Hello! I am having an issue as well. I have tried it on two different websites and both get the error that was previously brought up by @joyryde. Neither of these sites have Cloudflare. One site does have WPRocket. I do not see any extra characters in the payment URL, yet for both test invoices I sent from (1 from each website) the error exitsts saying “This order cannot be paid for. Please contact us if you need assistance.”

This functionality would be extremely helpful for manual orders, but if the link doesn’t work it defeats the purpose.

I have a similar question regarding multiple dates. We have a few different situations.
    (1) We have classes that are 1 night but will be held on multiple dates and times so someone can choose if they want to attend 1/3/22 10:00-12:00, 1/3/22 7:00-9:00, 4/1/22 10:00-12:00 or 4/1/22 7:00-9:00. I want a ticket/SKU assigned to each of those date and time options.
    (2) We have classes that take place over the course of 4 dates. For instance this one coming up January 2022 PM: class meets Saturdays, January 8th, 15th & 22nd from 2:00-4:00pm. Currently we only have this one series of dates available, but may add another set of dates after this one is complete.
    (3) We have a class that we always have a bunch of dates pre-planned for and would want to have them available to select from. This is one class we have coming up and all the currently scheduled dates. How would we have the class listing with a ticket for each of these options?
    January Weekend: class meets Sundays January 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd from 9am-11:30am
    January AM: class meets Tuesdays January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th from 10am-12:30pm
    January PM: class meets Tuesdays January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th from 7-9:30pm
    February AM: class meets Wednesdays February 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd from 10am-12:30pm
    February PM: class meets Wednesdays February 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd from 7-9:30pm
    March WKD: class meets Sundays March 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th from 9-11:30am
    March AM: class meets Mondays March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th from 10am-12:30pm
    March PM: class meets Mondays March 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th from 7-9:30pm
    April AM: class meets Tuesdays April 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th from 10am-12:30pm
    April PM: class meets Tuesdays April 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th from 7-9:30pm

We are currently using WooCommerce and listing these as products so we have to update the variations and class dates every time we add dates and when dates pass. This is an example: https://fabricatestudios.com/product/sewing-101-beginner-sewing/

@horsecreeksoap – thank you for your response
@madeincosmos – thank you for the response. It’s already set to charge so not sure where the problem is coming from.

I see that one day ago people are still asking about this? Has anyone found a true solution? My website is working fine with Square, but my friend’s who I set up exactly the way mine is set up – is not working.

@horsecreeksoap – you mentioned manually capturing the payment on the order page. What does that entail?

    Thanks!

That sounds good…so, once I buy it – how do I figure that out?

Well, I might have described it wrong then now that I read what you wrote. I haven’t purchased the plug-in yet as I want to make sure I find the right thing.

This is the item I’m selling – https://www.geminiredcreations.com/shop/floating-lockets/

At the top they chose the locket and which chain they want (that’s one price). They can add-on any charms or accessories listed below. But, as you can see the list is quite long and if I add more options it will get longer and longer and be “messy.”

So…since I have those add-ons also as stand-alone items I was thinking I could create a “deal” price. The locket/chain combo would still be the set price and then any charms or accessories they buy at the same time would be at a discounted price. Right now they charms are 95 cents less when purchased via clicking the add-on check box.

I just came across this post and we all seem to have varying issues with a similar problem. I have an item that I want to list in my shop that comes in many colors. My customers will likely want a yard or more of many different colors and I want them to be able to add a quantity per color in a list type format versus selecting the quantity for the first color and then having to go back to the item and pick again – I think it’s too cumbersome. Anyone??
